Previous literature emphasized the role ofpsychological capital (PsyCap) in fostering positive orga-nizational and work outcomes. However, there were veryscarce investigations on the benefits of PsyCap especiallyin non-Western academic settings. The current researchaddresses this gap through assessing the extent to whichPsyCap can be associated with optimal academic and well-being outcomes. There were 606 Filipino high school stu-dents who were recruited in the study. The results ofstructural equation modeling revealed that PsyCap posi-tively predicted academic engagement, flourishing, inter-dependent happiness, and positive affect. Implications ofthe findings are elaborated in terms of how PsyCap canpotentially assist in facilitating positive student outcomesin a non-Western contex
