Vom alltäglichen Umgang mit Literatur am Beispiel des Literaturtourismus zu Joyces Ulysses

No image available for this title
From a literary point of view the audience – in terms of empirical readers and their everyday uses of literature – has long been neglected. Aspects of literary
reception are predominantly negotiated by referring to theoretical constructs and text-based models. On the basis of literary tourism this article offers (a) an ethnographic-praxeological approach to literary reception and its situatedness in specific everyday contexts and applies this approach (b) based on an empirical case study on literary walks on James Joyce’s novel Ulysses in the city of Dublin.
