Positive education is the application of positivepsychology principles to the education domain. Relative topositive psychology, positive education has not received agreat deal of theoretical and empirical attention. In addi-tion, there is a significant dearth of positive educationtheory and research focusing on students in the Asianregion. This article explores positive education, its links topositive psychology, and its relevance and importance towellbeing and learning in the Asian context. Building onthe series of studies in this Special Issue, the article thenoutlines critical conceptual, measurement, and researchdesign considerations for positive education research going forward.
